Description
BoatTector's Stainless Steel Anchor Lead Chain is designed with oversized links and 3/8" shackles on each end to simplify attachment. Suitable for most shackle/rode combinations. The use of an anchor lead chain enhances the anchor's holding power by keeping the shank parallel to the anchoring surface, helping to eliminate unwanted pull-out or anchor freeing caused by wave motion or boat drifting. It also limits abrasion between the anchor and anchor line. Please note that this chain is not rated or designed for overhead lifting applications.
