Whether it's reaching that high rooftop luggage carrier, lifting a kayak to your roof rack, getting to those hard to get to places under the hood, reaching a toolbox inside your truck bed, or any number of additional applications, the Adjustable Tire Step from Extreme Max Products is just what you need to give yourself leverage and additional height around your vehicle. Holding up to 350 lbs., the tire step saddles your vehicle's tire while the simple design uses gravity to hold it in place; there are no straps needed, making it quick to set up and take down. A pushpin size adjustment allows the tire step to fit a variety of tires, accepting widths from 8.5" to 10.25". A second adjustment alters the height on the stepping platform once attached to the tire to optimize the height you need, locking into positions 5", 8.25" or 11.5" below the top of the saddled frame. When the job is done, the step folds flat for easy storage. Note: Use caution during initial tire fit. If the tire step rests against the vehicle rim and cannot be adjusted otherwise, you may wish to place a cushion or pad between the rim and the step to prevent any possible scratching.
