The BoatTector Mooring Boss is the frontrunner in marine mooring, protecting your boat from dock rash and bumper chafe while not hogging valuable dock space!
Assembled from the highest quality BoatTector products available, the Mooring Boss utilizes two 20 lbs. anchors to set the boat safely away from the dock, while two bungees and an anchor line allow for the boat to be maneuvered easily to and from the dock for boarding and unloading with the use of a simple dock line (not included). Properly moored, the boat will sit halfway between the anchors and the dock with the tension of the bungee lines and the resistance of the dock line keeping it snugly in place. Paired with a high visibility BoatTector Inflatable Fender to serve as a marker buoy, the Mooring Boss may be unhooked from the boat and left in the water for full summer of consistent mooring without ever having to reset the anchors.
The Mooring Boss is intended for use in waters up to 10 feet deep. Not designed for use in overnight mooring, or in water conditions with fluctuating tides or currents. The BoatTector Bungee Line and Anchor Lines should be replaced annually, or as required by wear and tear. Each Mooring Boss includes (2) 20 lbs. anchors, (1) stainless steel anchor chain, (1) inflatable fender, (2) 6' bungee lines, (3) stainless steel shackles, (1) nickel-plated snap hook, and (1) 1/2" x 15' anchor line.
