The Extreme Max 1229.4028 2A Battery Charger Maintainer Desulfator is a multi-step onboard charger for your car, boat, RV, ATV, UTV, and more! The charger is compatible with both 12 volt and 6 volt batteries and offers 2 Amps per charging bank. The charger offers three stages: Optimize Charge, Force-Charge for Dead Batteries, and Restore Battery. During Optimize Charge, an integrated thermal sensor detects the ambient temperature and alters the charge to eliminate over-charge in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates. Use the all-new Force Mode that allows you to take control and manually begin charging dead batteries showing no voltage. Restore Battery mode detects sulfation and acid stratification and restores lost performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life.
